The DiStar*HD lens was designed for D-Cinema projectors with 1.2” 2K DLP technology. The lens has a focal length of 24 mm and features images in a D-cinema quality with a projection ratio of 0.9:1. It offers the widest angle projection available. The lens was especially developed for curved (cylindrical or spherical) screens with a screen radius of 2.2x projection distance. Due to these projection parameters, the DiStar*HD 24mm lens is the ideal solution for huge, curved IMAX screens.
